Description

Thomas Jefferson designed and built the University of Virginia which opened it's doors on March 7, 1825.  Jefferson considered this one of his most important accomplishments and left instructions for "Father of the University of Virginia" to be inscribed on his tombstone.   This is an original print artwork by Barbara Shenefield.  Created by combining photography, drawing and torn paper collage.  Printed in limited editions with a high-quality giclée printer on archival paper.  The resulting art print is vibrant and saturated with color.  Made in the U.S.A.  19 ½"h  x  13 ½"w.
