Ingrain carpet is defined as a flat, woven, reversible wool carpet. Our carpet is made by one of the last surviving U.S. textile mills, specializing in original 18th and 19th century designs. Chosen by Monticello's curators, this wool carpet is now on display in Monticello's upper rooms. 3' x 6', dark blue binding on all sides.
