Monticello Fossil Flower Scarf

Made exclusively for Monticello using flowers harvested from our Center for Historic Plants. Each scarf begins with a handmade clay block. Flowers are pressed into the clay before firing in a kiln. Glaze is added to color the "fossilized" surface. The resulting block is transformed into the pattern you see on the scarf. Vibrant in color - each is truly a work of art. 10"w x 70". 100% silk, hand wash. Made in the U.S.A.
