Thomas Jefferson first planted “Cayenne pepper” at Shadwell, his birthplace, just before his twenty-fourth birthday in 1767.  Our notecard of the Long Red Cayenne Pepper was created from an original oil painting by Tim O’Kane, a local Virginia artist.  Blank inside, information about the plant is on the back of the card.  4 ½"w x 5 ¾"h.  Envelope included.  Made in the U.S.A.
