Green Lavender Cotton, also known as Holy Flax, is native to the western and central Mediterranean regions and has been cultivated in gardens since the late 17th century.  It is well-suited as a groundcover and for edging perennial beds and intricate, geometric knot gardens.  It's yellow flowers can be cut during or after they bloom to encourage fresh growth of the aromatic, deep green foliage, which is not attractive to deer. zone6,zone7,zone8,zone9
