Vibrant natural colors and botanical "fossil" designs adorn each unique plate. Handmade in Virginia with flowers and herbs collected from the Center for Historic Plants at Monticello. Plants are pressed into the clay before firing to give the effect of a fossil, and then hand painted. Each plate will feature a unique flower pattern and color. Lead free glaze. Dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. Approximately 6" square. Signed and dated by the artist Neena Jhaveri.
Plates are made based on what is in bloom, therefore, plant shapes, patterns, and colors will all be different. The above image is a sampling of what the plates may look like.
