Thomas Jefferson included Joseph’s Coat , or “three coloured Amaranth,” in a shipment of seeds to his brother-in-law, Francis Eppes, from Paris in 1786. Our Joseph’s Coat notecard was created from an original oil painting by Tim O’Kane, a local Virginia artist. Blank inside, information about the plant is included on the back of the card. 4 ½”w x 5 ¾”h. Envelope included. Made in the U.S.A.
