Gift Wrap:?
The 18th century gardener’s best tool! Thumb pots are earthenware pots with sprinkling holes in the base, which were used during Jefferson’s time to water the flower, vegetable and herb gardens. The idea is simple. A pot with a thumb-size hole in the top is plunged into water. It fills up through the holes in the bottom. Put your thumb over the top. Carry it to where you want it, remove your thumb and sprinkle the water. Hand thrown in the USA, embossed with Monticello’s logo. Holds approximately 1.5 quarts. Sizes may vary.
