Prudens Purple Tomato is an indeterminate, potato-leaf variety with fruits that can weigh up to a pound. A 19th-century “Early Brandywine-type” tomato, it bears very large fruits, which are flattened, smooth, and resistant to cracking. The skin of this sweet, flavorful tomato is a vivid dark pink and the flesh is bright crimson.

Sow seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost date, transplant to 3” pots once they have several true leaves, then transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Plants require support and frequent fertilization. Approximately 35-40 seeds per packet.
